10/22/2006 :: After a short band meeting, the band got back to work on some familiar material, and began reworking one from the archives. With the structure of The Duel pretty much stabalized, the band began tightening it up, with a couple of fine run throughs. Work also continued on Mirage as the mood of this piece is really starting to come together. With new lyrics from Jessica, some great guitar parts from Jeffrey, and some restructuring by the band, The Thaw is quickly transforming into a beautiful piece of music.

10/17/2006 :: Practice was a mellow affair as Mark layed down a bassline to Human Race . Jeffrey turned out another fine piece of music, releasing a couple different mixes of a song titled Insane Cycle .

10/09/2006 :: This week saw the band taking steps to expand their sound with the audition of multi-instrumentalist (Synth, Guitar, and Saxaphone), Josh Kaminetsky. After running through a couple familiar favorites, the vibe opened up and the jamming began in full. Several existing ideas were given a new twist. Time and space seemed to dissolve as the band layed down 6 tracks covering almost 90 minutes of recorded material. Everyone seemed to leave the session with a renewed understanding of why they play music.

10/03/2006 :: Work continued on The Duel , as the band tightened and refined the structure that emerged during last week's practice. Refinement continues on Postcard From The Atomic Lighthouse, as well. Jessica unveiled a new song she has been working on titled Bluebird. A beautiful acoustic version is posted below.
